A Lesson on ”The Many Faces of Fear”
Friday Dec 03, 2021
Friday Dec 03, 2021
Recently, I have found myself listening to the illusion of fear more so than my higher self, and this can create a lot of challenges in my life. It can be tough to recognize sometimes, as fear has the ability to manifest itself into many different ways, such as trying to control outcomes, being defensive or judgmental, blaming other people or circumstances, and all sorts of other disguises. In today's episode, I talk through the various ways fear can show up in our lives to sabotage, and how once recognized, we can refer back to a few fail safe principles that can pull us out of fear and back into alignment with who we truly are. My hope is that you begin to see fear for what it is, and begin to listen more to that other voice instead, which truly knows all that is best for you. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”You‘re Enough, Just As You Are”
Friday Nov 12, 2021
Friday Nov 12, 2021
How would you show up in this world if you knew, without question, that you were enough just as you are with nothing to prove? I know that this one shift in perspective in thought, perhaps the biggest one you can take, could completely transform your life. In today's episode, I share practical reasons why this is not only 100% true, but the benefit of how powerful believing in this is. My hope is that you walk away feeling even the slightest bit more whole in knowing that this is the truth of who you are. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”Lighten Up, and Stop Being So Hard on Yourself!”
Friday Nov 05, 2021
Friday Nov 05, 2021
I think the title on this one really explains it all. This week's episode is short and sweet and shares with you some ways to A. recognize when you're being hard on yourself and B. how to be nicer, as well as give yourself more grace, empathy and understanding. Reminding you that we're all do the best that we can with what we know, and that we'll never get it done. Allow yourself to be what you are, just as you are, as that is 100% enough. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”The Immense Value of Boundaries”
Thursday Oct 28, 2021
Thursday Oct 28, 2021
Oh boundaries, I have such a new respect for you and all that you have done for my life. At first, I was so scared to use you in my life, but since adopting, life keeps getting better and better, as well as easier and easier. What are boundaries? To me, they are the areas of life that the word 'should' is generally attached to, and often times lead you to saying yes to something or someone, while saying no to yourself.
You may think, "okay, whatever, that's not a big deal?" Yet it totally is. The impact of just one undesired yes can have a waterfall affect that creates a reactionary life where you're not supporting yourself, you're only supporting all that is around you. As I've said a zillion times, you cannot pour from an empty cup, so it is your job to put yourself first. I know, it's the opposite of what majority of us have been taught.
So where do you begin? Well, first you can take a listen to this episode where I talk about the impact of not creating supportive boundaries, AND how you can begin to create them within your life. My hope is that you take away at least one practice that you can start today, which will result in a more joyful, centered life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”You Are Responsible for Your Life”
Friday Oct 15, 2021
Friday Oct 15, 2021
I've said more than once on this podcast that your thoughts and beliefs create your experience. I have always believed this, yet when something I dislike would happen to me, I would ask, "why is this happening?", completely retracting this entire belief system. This statement also is under the illusion that things happen 'to me' instead of 'for me'. Recently, while reading Alan Cohen's book, "The Lifestyle's of the Rich in Spirit" he guides us to ask the question "Why did I create this"? When I read that, I had a deep ah-ha moment, fully recognizing that I hold the power over it all, each experience whether I perceive it as good, bad, or whatever.
In today's episode, I discuss more about how we truly hold hold the power to own our own lives. I break down how this concept works, and how you can begin to apply it in your own life, taking back the control and giving yourself the credit for the immense influence you hold on your life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”Uncovering Your Limiting Beliefs”
Friday Oct 08, 2021
Friday Oct 08, 2021
Oh, limiting beliefs. What are they? Well, let's break down the two words. First, limiting, which according to Merriam Webster dictionary means, "functioning as a limit : RESTRICTIVE". Then, there's belief, which they describe as "a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing". So, once combined, a limiting belief is, "restrictive state of mind in which trust or confidence is placed". Here's the thing, we all have limiting beliefs, however, most of us are not even aware they are there. As I've said many times before on the podcast, once you have awareness of something, it loses it's power, because you're able to see it for what it is.
In today's episode, I talk through some example limiting beliefs, how to identify limiting beliefs of your own, how they are holding you back in life, and ways to break free. You are such an incredible, whole, and perfect being, and any thought that goes against it has no room here. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”You Are Not Alone, We‘re More Alike Than You Think”
Thursday Sep 30, 2021
Thursday Sep 30, 2021
I spent time last week in South Lake Tahoe with a group of amazing beings who are all apart of my holistic life coach training, and it was truly a week to remember. When you immerse yourself in situations with like minded individuals, it creates a container to be vulnerable and to truly connect with others, reminding me that we're not all that different.
In this week's episode, I share the experience of the retreat in more detail, along with all of the incredible learnings I took away with me. It gave me a fresh perspective on my life, and I am still feeling the high vibe effects. My hope is that you feel heard, seen, and recognize the benefit of connecting deeply with others, as well as remembering that we're more alike than we think. We are all connected as one, we are not separate beings going through life alone. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”Going After Your Dreams”
Wednesday Sep 15, 2021
Wednesday Sep 15, 2021
Okay, so perhaps my days as a football cheerleader in high school have blead over into my adult life, as I am so insanely passionate about cheering others on to pursue whatever desire is burning in their heart. You want a new job? You're smart, brilliant, and anyone would be psyched to have you! You want a partner? You are the most beautiful soul I have ever seen, and your person is looking for you to. You want more money? You are an abundance magnet, and there are droves of cash coming your way!
Alright, slow down inner cheerleader. What if I really desire something, but I am afraid of going after it? What will 'they' think? What if I don't get it? What if what I want isn't truly meant for me, or I am thinking beyond what is possible? Any of these sound familiar? Well, let's get one thing straight, the ego isn't very creative and in most cases (even though we think our experience is separate from other's) we each feel fear when it comes to chasing our dreams. In today's episode, I break down what the process has looked like for me, some tips to help you along the way, and a bit more 'cheerleading' to convince you that yes, your dreams are meant for you, and yes, you can have whatever it is that you want. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”Reflecting on 34”
Friday Sep 03, 2021
Friday Sep 03, 2021
This past week I turned 35, and as I always do, I took some time to reflect on the past year. I ask myself, 'what am I most proud of myself for?', 'what challenges did I overcome, and what did I learn from them?', and then finish up with 100 gratitude's that capture the milestones or the juicy simple moments that I appreciated. I believe that reflection is such an important process to life. We grow little by little, so much so, that we sometimes forget to recognize how far we have come. Today's episode honor's this process as I share the top lessons I learned from this past year that have supported my growth and well being. My hope is that you take at minimum one of the concepts and try it on for size in your own life to see if you experience the same blessings that I did from it. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "The Love Yourself Challenge"
Thursday Aug 26, 2021
Thursday Aug 26, 2021
This isn't your typical challenge. It isn't about a defined timeline, strict rules with a win or lose finish. This challenge is all about you, and you get to decide how you will complete it. The goal: to love yourself more by the end of it. We can all use more love in our lives, and the more that we truly love ourselves not only from a feeling but from an act, we can then show up better for those around us.
In this latest episode, I share with you some ways in which you can 1. check-in with yourself to gain awareness on your love barometer and then 2. Practical tips to increase the capacity for how you show up for yourself, and treat yourself with love and kindness. These minor acts can create such a significant shift in your life, and all it takes is the intention to do them. My hope is that you take away at least one thing from this episode that will support you in loving yourself more, because for reals, what is more important than that? Enjoy!
An opportunity to take inventory of your life by asking yourself the following questions:
- Are you happy with how you’re spending your days?
- Make a list of your daily activities
-
- Are there any activities that drain your energy? Is there a way you can release them? Simply don’t do them anymore or outsource.
-
- How much time do you spend daily on yourself?
- For the next week, treat yourself as though you are the person that you love most in this world. If you’re asked to do something you don’t want to do, what would you say that person you love in the same situation? If you’re tired, and mad at yourself for not having more energy, what would you say to that person?
- How are you measuring success of a day? Is it getting things done? Being present? Experiencing joy? Connecting with others? Can you shift these goals to serve you better?
- Gratitude’s at the end of the day
- 3 to 5 things that you are grateful for.
- If you have a partner – share these together.
- This allows you to begin searching for these positive aspects throughout your day
- 3 to 5 things that you are grateful for.
- Setup for the next day
-
-
- Don’t grab your phone first thing in the morning
- Direct your thoughts to something that feels good – choose to feel good
- Re: birthday or Christmas morning – feeling lighter, happier
- Default to ‘I love myself’
- Then answer in a journal
- How do I want to feel today?
- Who do I want to be today?
- What do I want to receive today?
- What do I want to give today?
-
-
