A Lesson on "Your Power is Your Focus"
Friday Nov 06, 2020
Friday Nov 06, 2020
Going to be honest here and say I have recorded about four episodes in the past few weeks, but they just didn't feel right. I feel blessed that I normally press record, and the message I am wanting to convey just comes through me. However, these past few times, it felt forced, and not real, and being real and natural is such a priority for me in these recordings. Then I remembered the power I hold, I shifted my story from "everyone already knows this, or 'they' won't believe what I say" ... to "I am speaking to my old self who would love to hear this exact message. I have this desire to share because it is meant to be listened to by those who need to hear it most."
So here we are. This episode is all about your focus. It is one of the most important areas to master, because it creates your reality and allows you to take back your power. I talk about why this is true and how to begin managing yours. My hope is that this reminds you just how powerful you are. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "Getting Yourself Out of a Funk"
Thursday Oct 08, 2020
Thursday Oct 08, 2020
Have you ever felt off? I'm going to go with the idea that most of you would respond 'yes' to this question. Especially during this time, we have less distractions around us, so there is more space for things to come up in our day to day lives that may need to be felt. I think it is certainly important to feel our feelings, no matter if they are defined as good or bad, however, sometimes you're just ready to be done with it and move on. If you're looking for ways in which to shift your energy from negative back to positive, checkout this episode. I dive into my top five ways to redirect my thoughts so that I can begin to pull myself out of whatever it is I may be experiencing. My hope is that if you're feeling down now or at some point in the future, you can use one of these tactics to get you back on track. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "Feminine and Masculine Energy" with Karissa Kouchis
Thursday Oct 01, 2020
Thursday Oct 01, 2020
I am beyond excited to share with you the latest episode of Connect Back In where I interview the wonderful Karissa Kouchis, better known as KK! She is a national speaker, corporate trainer, host, entertainment personality and performance strategist with the Tony Robbins companies.
She’s brought her high-energy training to over 1,000 events for companies like Fox Sports, Salesforce.com, The NFL, Zoom Video Communications, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ace Hardware, Keller Williams, BeautyCounter, Equinox, New York Life, Marriott Hotels and Barre3 Fitness. AKA, she's a big deal, and at the same time, authentically awesome.
.
.
As you can see above, her list of credentials is long, and at such a young age, she has truly accomplished massive success in her career. One would think this would take a lot of pushing, effort, action, and a lot of elements that we would define as 'masculine energy'. However, we learn in this episode that achieving requires both "the doing" and "the being", and 'this being' we're referring to is related feminine energy. Whether you're new to this concept or not, I urge you to listen in as KK and I discuss what masculine and feminine energy is, why a balance of both are crucial elements to success, what acting from Level 10 means (not what you think), and more about her latest endeavor, Unleash Her Power Within, an online community for past, present and future women that attend UPW by Tony Robbins. My hope is that you leave this episode inspired and ready to not only only achieve everything that you desire in your life, but while also loving the process getting there. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "On All Things Energy" with Lisa Russell
Wednesday Sep 23, 2020
Wednesday Sep 23, 2020
Everything is energy, literally everything. This statement must resonate somewhere from within, or perhaps this is something you believe with all of your being. Whatever the case, I had the honor of interviewing Lisa Russell, the founder of 'Live More Realized', and in this episode, we talk the importance of energy, and how you can get yourself aligned to all the things you desire in life. She also shares with us how to connect within when we're feeling lost, and her story to becoming the incredible Polarity Therapist that she is today, helping so many people awaken their power within through a variety of different healing modalities.
Also, for listeners, she's created a custom vibrational alignment and chakra clearing meditation, to get your energy vibrating high, and attracting everything you want in life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "The Stories We Tell Ourselves"
Thursday Sep 17, 2020
Thursday Sep 17, 2020
If you're anything like me, you have a constant reel of thoughts going on in your brain, and up until my 30's, I assumed that I was at the mercy of these words, judgements, and opinions. I would also believe them as my actual truth, and didn't understand the idea that I was the one who was in control, and can choose to believe whatever it is that I want to believe.
.
.
Now, breaking this all down, I want to focus specifically on the area of 'the stories we tell ourselves'. With this voice constantly going, is yours on auto-pilot taking things in at face value, or do you choose to tell a story that serves you best? I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard that the words we speak are powerful, especially when it comes to our identity and how we choose to see ourselves, but I want to take things a step further than just hearing this, and share with you how to put this concept into practice. In this episode, I talk more about the power that our words and thoughts have, as well as share how my "old story" was limiting me in my life, and once I recognized this and shifted my beliefs, everything started to fall into place. This idea is life-changing, and my hope is that it not only resonates with you, but that you're able to implement this change to your story. I want your thoughts to better serve you each and every day, so you can experience joy, growth, and fulfillment in this one and only life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "Grieving a Loved One"
Wednesday Sep 09, 2020
Wednesday Sep 09, 2020
I originally titled this episode, "Grieving the Loss of a Loved One", but was then reminded that we don't lose those who have taken on another form. If we lost them, we would continue searching for them and never find them. This thought in itself is not helpful in any way. Instead, they morph into another version of themselves, sometimes referred to as 'crossing'. This allows you to redefine what this new relationship looks like versus searching for something that can never be found. Similar to the idea of grieving a child that has grown up, and desiring them to be a younger age than they are now. That version of them isn't here anymore, but you can embrace and enjoy who they are now.
Since losing my Dad in April 2019, I have found some ways to support myself through this process that I want to share with you. There is no 'right way' to grieve, and you have to find whatever works best for you. As there is a 100% success rate that we will not only experience the loss of someone in our lives, but that it will happen to us as well, I figured I should shed some light on this 'uncomfortable' topic. In true Morgan form, I am very vulnerable in this episode in hopes that it supports you wherever you are and that you recognize that you are not alone. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "Self Love, The Mecca of it All" with Beatrice Kamau
Thursday Sep 03, 2020
Thursday Sep 03, 2020
In today's episode, we dive deep into the mother load, and what I believe is the mecca of all self development, self love. But wait, what does this mean? How do I know if I love myself? What behaviors are representative of this? We talk this, and more along with the story of how Beatrice went from being at the mercy of pleasing others, to then completely stripping that away to unmask her true identity, and then using this experience to help others do the same. My hope is that this reminds you of who you truly are, and how to put yourself first so that you can then show up as the best you for this life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on "The Risk of Rushing"
Thursday Aug 13, 2020
Thursday Aug 13, 2020
‘We are always getting ready to live but never living.’ –Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ask yourself, are you rushing your way through life? If yes, have you ever wondered why you're rushing? What are you risking by pushing through the to do list that life demands day in and day out?
In this episode, I discuss why we rush, where it comes from, what we risk when rushing, and how to move towards a slower way of living. Reminding you that we're not here to just 'get it done', and that life can be so much fuller when we slow down.

A Lesson on "Relationships and the Noise of Other's Opinions"
Thursday Aug 06, 2020
Thursday Aug 06, 2020
Two very important things that can directly impact the decisions that we ultimately make for ourselves in our own lives are our relationships and how we allow what others think (their opinions/beliefs) into our sphere. To me, these two things share great insight into how we feel about ourselves. In this episode, I'll share with you some ways in which you can not only improve your relationships by improving yourself, but also the importance of not letting others opinions drown out your inner voice. You know what is best for you, period. Enjoy!
