A Lesson on ”The Power of Grace”
Friday Feb 04, 2022
Friday Feb 04, 2022
I've been on a hiatus for the past few weeks, as I am committed to only recording content that I feel inspired to share to ensure that you, the listener, get the most from it. As I was planning to bypass yet another week, I experienced a miracle that immediately shifted my energy, and inspired me to want to press record to share with you this instant shift. Ultimately, it comes down to being kinder to ourselves, and removing the pressure of life, allowing more grace to flow through, as that is the mecca of all superpowers. My hope is that you walk away feeling a bit more grace for yourself, no matter where you are in your life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”Five Things to Consider”
Friday Jan 14, 2022
Friday Jan 14, 2022
At the start of the year, I am often drawn to podcast episode titles that are very dramatic and catchy such as, "the four things you need to have your best year yet" or "the three shifts you must make if you want to find success" which is why I decided on a softer name for this week's episode of Connect Back In Podcast, "Five Things to Consider" ... you know, if you want to. It's all about taking what resonates and leaving the rest behind, because as I always say, only you know what is best for you :)
Listen in to the episode as I describe the five concepts that are helping me to stay on track, to maintain the priorities that are in alignment with my highest good, and to support myself in feeling my best. My hope is that you take away even one new thought that you can begin applying to your life now that will bring forward a more positive experience in your day to day life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”The Benefits of Forgiveness”
Thursday Jan 06, 2022
Thursday Jan 06, 2022
"Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die." Do you hold resentment towards someone and just can't seem to let it go? Do you relive the experience that caused you pain thinking that perhaps the more I think about this (over and over again), I will then find the solution to why this happened? If this is you, then you're in the right place. Today's episode of Connect Back In podcast is all about forgiveness. We've been taught that then when we forgive someone, we are 'letting them off the hook', and we should maintain our resentment because, "how dare they do that to us." In reality, we don't realize the pain we're causing ourselves by holding onto this negative thought pattern. Today we talk through why forgiveness is so important, what the process of forgiveness looks like, and some initial steps you can take to begin to release your resentful feelings. My hope is that you begin to take back your own power, and begin to see that you can choose again, in a way that will serve you better and bring you peace. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”Allow Healing This Instant”
Thursday Dec 16, 2021
Thursday Dec 16, 2021
As I do every Holiday season, I recently enjoyed watching one of my all time favorite films, "It's a Wonderful Life". It is such a great story, and is a reminder that we have a choice in how we want to perceive our lives, no matter the circumstances. We can choose to be healed, to feel free, in joy, and love in an instant. As my mentor Alan Cohen states, we often times allow our ego to convince us that healing is just on the other side of 'X', for example: after I lose 10 lbs., once I get the promotion, once I make more money, once I get that house, that relationship, that ..... you get the idea.
In today's episode, I talk through my favorite lessons from the movie (so spoiler alert if you have yet to see!), how we can apply those learnings to our own lives, and how we have the ability to give ourselves permission to be healed now, no longer giving the power to a circumstance outside ourselves in the future. My hope is that after listening, you feel empowered to say yes to healing now, as you deserve it. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”The Many Faces of Fear”
Friday Dec 03, 2021
Friday Dec 03, 2021
Recently, I have found myself listening to the illusion of fear more so than my higher self, and this can create a lot of challenges in my life. It can be tough to recognize sometimes, as fear has the ability to manifest itself into many different ways, such as trying to control outcomes, being defensive or judgmental, blaming other people or circumstances, and all sorts of other disguises. In today's episode, I talk through the various ways fear can show up in our lives to sabotage, and how once recognized, we can refer back to a few fail safe principles that can pull us out of fear and back into alignment with who we truly are. My hope is that you begin to see fear for what it is, and begin to listen more to that other voice instead, which truly knows all that is best for you. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”You‘re Enough, Just As You Are”
Friday Nov 12, 2021
Friday Nov 12, 2021
How would you show up in this world if you knew, without question, that you were enough just as you are with nothing to prove? I know that this one shift in perspective in thought, perhaps the biggest one you can take, could completely transform your life. In today's episode, I share practical reasons why this is not only 100% true, but the benefit of how powerful believing in this is. My hope is that you walk away feeling even the slightest bit more whole in knowing that this is the truth of who you are. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”Lighten Up, and Stop Being So Hard on Yourself!”
Friday Nov 05, 2021
Friday Nov 05, 2021
I think the title on this one really explains it all. This week's episode is short and sweet and shares with you some ways to A. recognize when you're being hard on yourself and B. how to be nicer, as well as give yourself more grace, empathy and understanding. Reminding you that we're all do the best that we can with what we know, and that we'll never get it done. Allow yourself to be what you are, just as you are, as that is 100% enough. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”The Immense Value of Boundaries”
Thursday Oct 28, 2021
Thursday Oct 28, 2021
Oh boundaries, I have such a new respect for you and all that you have done for my life. At first, I was so scared to use you in my life, but since adopting, life keeps getting better and better, as well as easier and easier. What are boundaries? To me, they are the areas of life that the word 'should' is generally attached to, and often times lead you to saying yes to something or someone, while saying no to yourself.
You may think, "okay, whatever, that's not a big deal?" Yet it totally is. The impact of just one undesired yes can have a waterfall affect that creates a reactionary life where you're not supporting yourself, you're only supporting all that is around you. As I've said a zillion times, you cannot pour from an empty cup, so it is your job to put yourself first. I know, it's the opposite of what majority of us have been taught.
So where do you begin? Well, first you can take a listen to this episode where I talk about the impact of not creating supportive boundaries, AND how you can begin to create them within your life. My hope is that you take away at least one practice that you can start today, which will result in a more joyful, centered life. Enjoy!

A Lesson on ”You Are Responsible for Your Life”
Friday Oct 15, 2021
Friday Oct 15, 2021
I've said more than once on this podcast that your thoughts and beliefs create your experience. I have always believed this, yet when something I dislike would happen to me, I would ask, "why is this happening?", completely retracting this entire belief system. This statement also is under the illusion that things happen 'to me' instead of 'for me'. Recently, while reading Alan Cohen's book, "The Lifestyle's of the Rich in Spirit" he guides us to ask the question "Why did I create this"? When I read that, I had a deep ah-ha moment, fully recognizing that I hold the power over it all, each experience whether I perceive it as good, bad, or whatever.
In today's episode, I discuss more about how we truly hold hold the power to own our own lives. I break down how this concept works, and how you can begin to apply it in your own life, taking back the control and giving yourself the credit for the immense influence you hold on your life. Enjoy!
